I have to agree with you on your points shoujoboy, having just watched the
entire series myself. Like a couple of other people here I might have given the
story and overall presentation a 7 or so, but I thought the fact that the
episodes were aired out of order actually hurt the series more than it helped
it. From what I've seen the novel series doesn't do it nearly as much as the
anime does.
I would think that if they had to switch the episode order, that 12 would have
actually made the perfect closing episode, but that's just my thought process
there.
Based on the reaction to it though, and the distinct possibility of a second
season, I'd say this is an anime not going anywhere anytime soon. I believe that
it is overhyped, but a lot is these days, so I have to side with anyone with the
position of looking at it with realistic expectations going in, rather than
either rampant fanboyism or trolling mindsets.
Anyways, I've rambled on enough. Great review shoujoboy. As always, I look
forward to any future ones.
Actually, I do completely agree with you. But most people tend to bring up the
fact that Ninja Gaiden "seems" to have more finesse. But I have, and
will always prefer, the system in DMC. Thanks for the comment, it's much
appreciated!
Thank you very much for your kind words shinsengumi. I was worried that I might
not have done something right, this being my first real public review of
anything, but it's reassuring to know that I'm on the right track. Thanks again
for the compliaments!
